About the book "The Soul of Man. Its structure and functions"

With God's help, I have managed to write a work about the soul. Title of the work is “The soul of man. Its structure and functions". The volume of the proposed book will be a little over two hundred pages.

For thousands of years, many people have been trying to understand what the soul is. Philosophers, theologians, believers and non-believers tried to delve into the essence of the human nature and figure out what the soul is like. Those who are considered to be the pillars of psychoanalysis, its luminaries, wrote about the soul: Sigmund Freud, Carl Jung, Erich Fromm, and others. But what they understood and what they presented to the public turned out to be of little use both for researchers and for an average reader.

Now psychiatrists, psychologists, psychoanalysts are seemingly engaged in the study of the soul, although the word "soul" may not be pronounced. A lot has been written about the soul, but very little that would be useful to an ordinary person and that would be useful in a scientific research.

In order to understand the soul, I have studied the Bible. It is from the Bible that the main fundamental ideas that determine the structure of the soul are taken. I have also taken into account my own observations, self-observations and various literature. The proposed teaching about the soul does not contain any esotericism or mysticism. There are no references to any secret knowledge in the doctrine.

The text of the book is written in a simple language without an abstruse terminology. The soul in this work is described in words and presented in drawings (obviously, the drawings are only schematic and hypothetical). But what is important is not so much its descriptions but the tips and recommendations that are offered to an average reader.

The description of the soul helps in the following:

- to see oneself as a personality, and not as a creature that only works, eats, drinks, sleeps and makes children;

– to see the nature of people better;

- to understand what is happening in relationships with neighbors;

- to understand how you can change yourself and how to strive for perfection;

- to make relationships with neighbors softer and kinder, to make relationships with neighbors harmonious.

The book contains lists of negative and positive qualities of character, as well as links to the biblical justifications for the moral and ethical code.

This work may be of interest to those who at least to some extent are humanitarian: teachers, sociologists, criminologists, lawyers, people of creative professions, etc.

It can be very interesting for Bible teachers and thinking believers. This work will plunge psychiatrists, psychologists, psychoanalysts into a state of shock. This work is a Christian alternative to a psychoanalysis.

Obviously, not every person wants to change himself, and to such people this book will not be interesting.
